Pen Picture:Brought up in a predominantly Man Utd supporting town down under, young Cube was first drawn to following the Red Devils. He was later enticed by the Eastenders at the Boleyn Ground, mostly due to the silky skills of Tony Cottee and Steve Potts.
A keen cricketer, Laurie is one of Weymouth CC's foreign legion and regularly torments the likes of Portland Red Triangle in the local derby matches. His usual winter sport is the traditional Aussie fare of rugby (union not league), but he's taken to football as a gentler way to keep up his fitness in time for the summer.
To make ends meet, Laurie sticks to sterotype and has worked in a number of pubs and bars across Weymouth. He has finally settled at the Hogshead, under the management of former Overthehill midfielder, Martin "Paris" Harris, where he hosts his own pub quiz, (every Wednesday evening, 8.30pm start). In his spare time Cube enjoys playing video games, watching Seinfeld videos and experimenting with alcohol and many other substances.
