Wellworthys 0 vs Golden Lion 3
The Golden Lion notch up another win for the season away to Wellworthys at Budmouth this Sunday. Two goals from Mark Bowden and one from Sam Husband, all in the second half were enough to take the three points. An all round fine performance.

The Golden Lion Football Club was formed in the summer of 2006 by David Clifford, who took on the roles of Secretary, Treasurer, Club Coach and Manager, with his able deputy and reluctant Chairman Tony Morris. Clifford brought together the might of the Overthehill and Loders sides who had been playing in the Thomas Hardy 6-a-side League and formed an 11-a-side colossus
The Golden Lion FC will be plying their trade on Sunday mornings in the Sunday Championship (Sponsored by: Domino's Pizza), usually at The Marsh playing fields or Redlands in Weymouth, kickoff 10.30am.
